Carlos Manuel Gaspar dos Reis
Carlos Manuel Gaspar dos Reis. Completed a PhD in Biology from the University of Évora in 2018, a Master's in Plant Production and Breeding from the Technical University of Lisbon in 1994 and a Degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Évora in 1988. He is Adjunct Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco, Portugal. He teaches in the scientific areas of Botany, Cell and Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering. He has published several articles in scientific journals. He works in the areas of Agricultural Sciences with an emphasis on the characterization and evaluation of genetic resources and on Agricultural Biotechnology. He has a particular interest in resilient plants adapted to dry climates.
